Texture Wall Art
Venetian Plaster Online Course

A little background about me, my name is Karam Antakli, and I am an architect and interior designer. In 2020 I lost my job as a restaurant/bar designer due to COVID lockdowns when every hospitality business came to a halt. As they say 'When a door closes another one opens', I saw an advert on Instagram about a Venetian plaster course, so I signed up, and it was the best investment I've ever made. A whole world opened to me... The more I delved into it, the more I realised how this industry provided me with everything I dreamed of:

1- Be my own boss

2- Make a living out of what I love to do most: Art!

3- Travel to different locations and meet different people

4-Double, triple, and quadruple my annual income as a designer

5- Wake up every day with excitement for the future, ready for the new adventure!

Some of these reasons, or maybe all of them, made you land on this page, so please take the time to understand more about the types of wall art and its income streams. I hope I will be addressing all of your questions and concerns, let's start :)

What exactly are you going to learn?

As many people call it 'Wall Covering', I like to call it 'Wall Art'!
Venetian plaster is one the top rated, and most durable mediums as a surface finish, due to its versatility and beauty. However, with a little imagination, I will show you how to use this medium to create unique, bespoke and stunning wall art.

In this course I will be focusing on how to create a textured-effect finish, using thick-grain Venetian plaster. More than 60% of inquiries are after textured art.
At the end of the course you will be able to create:

1- Texture effect wall art

2- Bas-relief stencil

3- Sunken-relief stencil

4- Metallic Effect using metallic leaf

5- Patination / Oxidation
